Tommy Spencer
Tommy Spencer became captivated with Southern Gospel music at the tender age of ten years old as he listened to a local radio station in his home-town of Knoxville, Tennessee. The dream of singing Gospel music grew in his heart until he started singing locally at the age of twelve with his brother. Tommy has also sung many commercial jingles such as Wampler Sausage and Kerns Bread. In 1999, Tommy answered a calling to go out on his own and start a solo ministry. Today Tommy is traveling with a new zeal and has become an Ambassador for God in Southern Gospel music. Tommy appears regularly on television such as the Gospel Music channel and TBN. Tommy is also a regular on WJBZ Praise 96.3, the number one Southern Gospel station in the US as voted by the SGMA, appearing in concerts promoted by the station. Tommy has several albums to his credit as well as being an accomplished songwriter. Tommy sings regularly at the Tennessee Smokies games, presenting the National Anthem to over 5,000 people each game, and appears on The Mulls Singing Convention and TBN. Tommy’s unique voice and style have made him not only well respected in the industry, but through his growth and determination, has won the hearts of the fans and the respect of his peers. Concert after concert, Tommy delivers his inimitable voice, dynamic style, and annointed music that thrills Southern Gospel fans everywhere.
